Job description
As an Operating Theatre Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of surgical procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing orthopaedic and surgical interventions. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing the operating theatre and equipment for surgeries.
Assisting surgeons during operations with precision and professionalism.
Monitoring patients' vital signs and ensuring their safety throughout the procedure.
Maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols.
Managing surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
Providing post-operative care and patient support as required.
Essential requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
A valid DHA or MOH licence to practise as a nurse in the UAE.
A minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in operating theatres, specifically in orthopaedics and surgery.
Comprehensive knowledge of operating theatre procedures, equipment, and patient care standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
