Job description

  •  Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.

  • Coordinate care schedules and ensure that staff are allocated appropriately.

  •  Conduct assessments of clients' needs and develop person-centred care plans.

  • Monitor the quality of care delivered and implement any necessary improvements.

  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.

  • Provide training and support to care staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  •  Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

Essential requirements

  • Previous experience in a health or social care environment, ideally in a coordination or supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of domiciliary care services and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.

  • Proficient in using care management software and IT systems.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
